JWE Morris are Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, providing specialist engineering solutions since 1945. The acquisition of two companies resulted in the construction of new headquarters and office space on Bridgend Industrial Estate.
The high quality, multi-level offices with glass partitioning and comfortable meeting spaces meant that privacy was an issue.
The interior office boasted windows with different widths, and were fitted in sections with subtle joins, so we had to make the solution work for the different size glass, whilst keeping uniformity.
The initial concept was to blank out the interior window glass with frosted vinyl, however this was deemed too much coverage and blocked out the view.
To achieve the most desirable aesthetics our in-house designers took each different pane measurement and achieved a uniform appearance and complimented the window frosting with the JW Morris logo being relief-cut into the window frosting to keep the offices on brand and a fantastic backdrop for their social media photos.
The Technical Stuff
We designed and plotted the window frosting panels on Metamark Silver Etch frosted film and installed on-site by our in-house experienced installation team.
The Final Result
The client was delighted with the desired look to all their offices, on time and on budget ready for their grand opening.
